Landscape Architecture is a professional field with planning, aesthetic and artistic facets, as well as natural sciences, technical and business-related aspects. Focused on the principles of sustainability, the discipline involves planning ecologically and socially intact living environments on different spatial levels. The degree program is project-based, and students gain expertise on topics ranging from designing an urban plaza to preparing expert conservation assessments. “The plant” serves as the central design element in landscape architecture.
