Terms and Conditions of Application
BIC and Data Privacy: What Happens to Your Personal Data?
All data privacy laws are observed at BIC. Generally, only BIC and partner universities have access to your personal data.
Your personal information is not given to third parties, and no statistics are produced that allow individuals to be identified.
All application documents in paper form will be destroyed by BIC within one year. All electronic application documents will be saved for up to four years. Partner universities also destroy application documents generally within four years.
In cases of successful enrollment at a partner university, all documents will be kept for at least the duration of the study program—in many cases even for decades. Further details regarding the treatment of your personal information following matriculation at BIC can be found in the relevant "study regulations" (Studienordnung) at the partner university in question.
Student Contract
Before you will be able to enroll at BIC, you will need to sign the Student Contract. It consists of Student Contract and the Refund Rules and Policies. They will be sent to you when you receive the BIC Acceptance Letter.
