Applying for BIC Preparation Program is easy! All it takes are the few steps described below.

1. Choose your program
Choose your degree preferences and BIC Preparation Program.
- BIC can only place you in the degrees programs listed on this website.
- Any offer from a German BIC partner university is conditional upon successful graduation from BIC.
2. Submit your application to BIC
(a) Submit an application using the online application system.
(b) Upload all required application documents using the online application system.
(c) Pay the application fee of 174 Euro on the online application system, or via bank wire transfer:

If you have already started an application using the online application system, you can use the login details sent to you via e-mail to continue your application.
3. Admission to BIC and Partner University
You will receive the offer to the BIC Preparation Program and to your chosen degree in one package offer:
- Acceptance letter from BIC
- Conditional acceptance letter from university chosen
4. Accept your offer
You accept your offer and enroll by paying the tuition fees to BIC and signing the Student Contract.
5. Apply for a student visa
You apply for a student visa (only if you require one). You will find details about the exact requirements for a student visa on the official website of either the German Foreign Office or the German Embassy that is responsible for your country.
Please allow sufficient time for the visa application process (8 weeks minimum)!
6. Your arrival in Germany
BIC can arrange for you to be picked-up from an airport or railway station in Berlin. Please let us know your exact arrival details at least 10 days in advance! For more recommendations, please read the Pre-Departure Guide in its entirety.
